Position OverviewThe Operations Manager I will provide comprehensive operational support to the HUMINT & Sensitive Activities Directorate within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security (OUSD(I&S)). This role requires managing operations, ensuring compliance with security protocols, and supporting the strategic objectives of the directorate.

Job Responsibilities And/or Success Factors Operational Management- Ensure strict adherence to applicable publications, laws, and regulations.
- Develop and maintain effective quality control programs to ensure services are performed to the highest standards.
- Identify and mitigate security incidents, developing response measures for government leadership.
- Serve as the Program Security Officer (PSO) and subject matter expert for special security and special access program support in SCIF and SAPF environments.
- Monitor access to SCIF/SAPF and ensure compliance with physical and administrative security requirements.
- Coordinate personnel clearance verifications, visit requests, and provide security briefings for visitors and meetings.
- Initiate and coordinate Program Access Requests (PARS) and facilitate Alternate Compensatory Control Measure (ACCM) accesses.
- Update and maintain classified access management systems of record.
- Coordinate facility, equipment, communications, and IT needs specific to SCIF/SAPF requirements.
- Prepare for and assist during required security inspections.
- Assist in developing and executing approved policies and procedures for safeguarding SAP, SCI, and collateral data in support of DoD and federal interagency operations.
- Review, monitor, and report the status of action items, activities, and products using the CATMS and JSAP systems.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI Clearance.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management, preferably within a defense or intelligence environment.
- Experience in managing security operations and special access programs.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in managing classified information and understanding of security protocols.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high‑stakes environment.
