Overview
At Ring, we’re seeking a driven and talented Software Development Engineer to join our AI Team. In this pivotal role, you will work on cloud services that power our innovative machine learning operation pipelines, handling petabytes of heterogeneous data and enabling data scientists to create and optimize numerous models in fast iterations.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with Software, Hardware, and Computer Vision Engineers to deliver a world-class platform that supports rapid AI model development and deployment.
- Contribute to cloud services, distributed systems, and web services architecture with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Work in an agile environment, taking ownership and delivering impact with autonomy.
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration and support personal development by learning from customers and teammates.
- Master s degree in computer science or equivalent
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- 2+ years of system design experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Proficient in using GenAI technology (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) for software development
- Fluent in Java and Python
- Experience in machine learning model development
- Experience with GenAI and Agent service development using LLM/VLM
