Overview

Sedaro is hiring a Senior Dev Ops engineer to build our culture of operational excellence. In this role, you will integrate CI/CD, security, and observability tools and automation for our Kubernetes-based multi-cloud environment, as well as rallying your teammates toward best practices.

What You’ll Do
  • Optimize multi‑cloud production infrastructure for security, reliability, and cost efficiency
  • Design and implement system observability with actionable alerting and measurable SLOs
  • Drive automation through CI/CD and infrastructure as code
  • Build in security through automated detection of vulnerabilities
  • Lead incident response and organize blameless post‑mortem discussions
  • Search out risks using chaos engineering activities
  • Coach operational and security best practices throughout the company
  • Foster Lean practices and a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and distributed systems architecture
  • Experience implementing CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and observability practices
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation
Additional desirable experience
  • Track record implementing security controls and vulnerability management
  • Experience leading incident response and root cause analysis
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform CDKTF
  • Experience with AWS and/or Azure
  • Experience with IL4/5+ and/or NIST 800‑171
