This position is located in USA VA Arlington, however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. Your future duties and responsibilities:
• System Design & Architecture:
Leading the design and documentation of system architectures for new projects and products.
• Feasibility & Risk Analysis:
Evaluating the technical feasibility and potential risks of proposed system designs.
• Technical Roadmaps:
Developing and maintaining long-term technical roadmaps for system evolution and modernization.
• Scalability & Performance:
Ensuring systems are designed to handle high volumes of data and traffic and perform efficiently.
• Integration & Integrity:
Overseeing the initial design and ongoing integration of applications and ensuring the overall integrity of the systems.
• Technology Evaluation:
Researching and assessing emerging technologies to determine their potential impact and suitability for the organization.
• Collaboration & Mentorship:
Providing technical guidance and mentorship to development and engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Security & Reliability:
Designing and implementing measures to ensure the security, integrity, and availability of systems.
• Stakeholder Communication:
Clearly communicating complex technical concepts and strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences, including management and end-users. Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Journeyman:

• Education and/or

Experience:

Bachelor's degree and/or 2 to 5 years of experience

• Security Clearance: TS/SCI required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Poly highly desired

• Deep understanding of both hardware and software components.

• Broad knowledge of network design, databases, and system servers.

• Ability to translate business goals into technical solutions.

• Proficiency in various system architectures, including integrated, distributed, pooled, and converged models.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities. SME:

Experience:

Bachelor's degree and/or 10+ years of experience

• Security Clearance: TS/SCI required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Poly highly desired

• Deep understanding of both hardware and software components.

• Broad knowledge of network design, databases, and system servers.

• Ability to translate business goals into technical solutions.

• Proficiency in various system architectures, including integrated, distributed, pooled, and converged models.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
