Senior Threat Analyst (Level 4 or
5) – Boeing, Arlington, VA

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) invites qualified candidates to join as a Senior Threat Analyst. The role focuses on threat assessments to inform Boeing Defense investments and capture strategy, utilizing the Boeing Virtual Warfare Center and engineering expertise.

• Gather timely intelligence of threat systems and capabilities from government sources
• Lead the development of complex threat assessments
• Develop realistic defense missions to inform operations analysis experimentation
• Interface with government customers and internal Boeing Business Units to guide decision making
• Communicate and present informative results to stakeholders, internal and external to Boeing
• Work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• 5+ years related work experience or equivalent technical education and experience
• 5+ years experience with analytical data, including generating operational briefings
• Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required)

• Level 5: 10+ years related work experience or equivalent education and experience
• Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance
• Master's or Ph.D. degree from an accredited program
• Experience in National Security Studies, Intelligence Studies, Political Science, Research Methodology, or comparable fields
• Military or intelligence officer experience (planning, targeting, collection, etc.)
• Experience with simulation, modeling, wargames, or operational simulations
• Experience applying operations analysis techniques (modeling, simulation, trade‑space/risk analysis)
• Systems operations or military mission knowledge
• Understanding of adversary behaviors across domains
• Working with classified reporting channels and interagency standards
• Conducting threat research and producing intelligence products for senior leadership
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance. A U.S. Person (citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) is required for export control compliance.

Competitive base pay and variable compensation. 401(k) match up to 10% with immediate 100% vesting.
Pay Range – Level 4: $130,900 – $177,100;
Level 5: $159,800 – $216,200
