Intelligence Analyst Evergreen

Overview

Obsidian Solutions Group (OSG) is seeking an Intelligence Analyst I for the Technical Operations Group within the Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS), the security and law enforcement arm of the U.S. Department of State. DS is a world leader in international investigations, threat analysis, cyber security, counter terrorism, security technology, and protection of people, property, and information. The Office of Security Technology (ST) supports DS mission by applying appropriate technical security countermeasures, including worldwide technical surveillance countermeasures (TSCM) managed by the Countermeasures Program (CMP) and Security Technology Operations (STO).

• Monitor Diplomatic Facility intrusion detection systems worldwide.
• Produce current crisis and term intelligence assessments on international security issues.
• Process, handle, manage, and disseminate classified information.
• Support a 24‑hour, 7‑day crisis contingency operations center.
• Present complex and sensitive products/software to senior decision makers and executive audiences within the Department of State, law‑enforcement community, and other government agencies.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of intelligence or counterintelligence analysis experience, or related security or computer science field experience.
• Prior military experience preferred;
  Marine Security Guard or watch‑operations center duty highly desirable.
• Geospatial imagery experience and SPARTA software knowledge are a plus.
• Detail‑oriented with a high standard of precision in the work product.
• Motivation and ability to work effectively in a demanding, time‑sensitive, high‑pressure environment.
• Good attitude and capability to maintain individual skill sets.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and willingness to learn new software as required.
