Senior CD/TOC Analyst
Location: Arlington, Virginia | Type: Full-Time | Clearance: TS/SCI (CI Polygraph may be required)
Note: On-site in a SCIF; U.S. citizenship required.
OverviewDark Star Intelligence is seeking a senior Counter drug (CD) / Transnational Organized Crime (TOC) analyst to support the National Targeting Center (NTC). This role executes entity-level, all-source, all-domain network analysis to expose illicit flows and high-impact vulnerabilities, producing actionable targeting deliverables that enable interagency disruption operations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct entity-centric all-source analysis on CD/TOC/DTO networks to reveal patterns, pathways, and critical nodes to drive disruption.
- Provide target development and network analysis support to DoD, Law Enforcement, and interagency partners; surface previously unknown connections.
- Employ advanced analytic workflows fusing IC and LE communications/financial records, PAI/OSINT, CAI, corporate/supply-chain, and dark-web data.
- Represent NTC in working groups and briefings; facilitate interagency information sharing and collaboration.
- Develop network targeting plans; exploit bulk data; identify gaps; produce actionable deliverables (target packages, network/comms charts, lead cables).
- Use state-of-the-art tools for enrichment, communications/financial analysis, large-scale data manipulation, link/nodal analysis, and visualization.
- Clearance: Active TS/SCI (CI-scope polygraph may be required)

Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 12+ years of specialized experience (or 17+ years prior-military equivalent) - Training/Certification: Proficiency with OSINT tools, entity-level network analysis, counter-threat finance methodologies
- Hands-on familiarity with JWICS-level geospatial/communications tools, report aggregators, visualization tools, and strong tradecraft in RFI management and interagency data-sharing
- Experience embedded with DEA, HSI, FBI, and/or Treasury/OFAC
- Cryptocurrency / illicit-finance analysis experience
- Regional depth (e.g., Western Hemisphere) or functional specialization (TBML, corruption, illicit procurement, precursor chemicals)
Salary Range: $91,000 - $100,000 annually. Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, internal equity, and market data. Dark Star provides a competitive and comprehensive benefits package designed to support long-term success.
Additional Details- Travel: As required by mission (CONUS/OCONUS), pre-approved per JTR and NTC procedures
- Work Environment: On-site. Limited telework may be authorized by the customer; operational telework only with government-issued laptop
