Data Engineer - Active Secret Clearance

Significance is seeking a Secret-cleared Data Engineer to support our program with the US Army. This work is to be performed on a hybrid basis with onsite support required in the Pentagon/Arlington VA area.

• Comparative analytics (parametric and non-parametric)
• Campaign analysis and course of action recommendations
• Decision support tools and dashboards
• Data wrangling and management
• Understanding software and AI/ML capabilities and limitations
• Converting data/information to knowledge

• Active Secret security clearance
• Bachelors Degree in related field
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Programming experience in R or Python with a specific emphasis on data analysis frameworks (Pandas, Num Py, Tidyverse).
• Programming experience in data visualization frameworks (Shiny, Streamlit, Dash, Plotly, ggplot2) and SQL databases (Postgres, Oracle).
• Familiarity with coding in (Python, R, VS Code, Microsoft Suite (Power BI, Power Apps, VBA), SQL)
• Data analytic skills (Simulations, Basic descriptive statistics, and Visualizations)
• Personal skills (Ability to brief senior leaders, Ability to learn on the job and seek out unique opportunities to broaden themselves and the unit).

$95,000 - $110,000 a year

At Significance, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location.

We carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including but not limited to experience; job-related skill sets; relevant education or training; and other business and organizational needs. The salary range listed is for the level at which this job has been scoped. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply.
