You will work on state‑of‑the‑art research, advanced software tools, new AI systems, and machine learning algorithms, leveraging Amazon's in‑house tech stack to bring innovative solutions to life. • Research and develop novel algorithms and modeling techniques to solve difficult problems.
• Collaborate with applied scientists, software engineers, and research scientists from other disciplines.
• Work on core LLM technologies, including Prompt Engineering and Optimization, Supervised Fine‑Tuning, and Evaluation.
• Build experimental AI/ML features and tools to revolutionize the hiring process and scale impactful features into production workflows.

Our team focuses on utilizing the latest research, tools, and technologies to build experimental AI/ML features and tools to revolutionize the hiring process at Amazon.

• 3+ years of building models for business applications.
• PhD or Master’s degree and 4+ years of experience in CS, CE, ML, or related field.
• Programming experience in Java, C++, Python, or related language.
• Experience in algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, or high‑performance computing.

• Experience using Unix/Linux.
• Professional software development experience.

Base pay ranges from $136,000 per year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,400 per year in our highest market. Pay is based on location and may vary. Equity, sign‑on payments, and additional benefits may be included.
