eDiscovery Litigation Technologist (Top Secret Clearance Required)

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking an eDiscovery Litigation Technologist to join a fast-paced, collaborative team supporting government-related legal accounts. The role emphasizes the use of electronic discovery tools and processes to support civil litigation, select criminal matters, FOIA and Congressional inquiries, and other external requests.

• Provide litigation technology support, including monitoring changes to laws impacting civil and criminal litigation and applying them to FBI Discovery policies and procedures.
• Monitor the commercial industry for new technology or best practices to improve FBI Discovery.
• Verify proposed solutions meet underlying needs and deliver new functional business capabilities addressing existing requirements.
• Test system upgrades or patches prior to release.
• Advise on identifying, preserving, collecting, processing, and producing ESI in support of civil litigation, select criminal matters, FOIA, Congressional requests, and other inquiries using current FBI tools and processes.
• Monitor daily separation reports to identify departing legal hold custodians and ensure proper preservation of material under legal hold.
• Update and/or create standard operating procedures for the ETA role.
• Provide strong technical background on electronic discovery applications and a solid legal background and expertise related to ESI tools and workflows.

• 5 years of eDiscovery/litigation support experience with a focus on client solutions
• 3 years of progressively more responsible experience on major litigation support projects
• 2 years in Relativity, beyond document review coding
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with both eDiscovery technical teams and non-technical business leaders
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Experience with eDiscovery Services covering all realms of the EDRM (File to Trial)
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (active clearance preferred)
• BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience (JD highly preferred)

Base pay range: $/yr – $/yr. Pay range provided by CGS Federal; actual pay is determined by skills and experience. Full-time, executive-level employment in the Legal department.
