We are looking for a dynamic, organized self‑starter to join our Global Engineering, Maintenance, & Sustainability – Design & Construction Quality Management team as a Program Manager.
Travel up to 60% within assigned regions. Regional travel and availability to work from a corporate office when not traveling. Candidates should either live near or be willing to relocate within a reasonable commuting distance of the office. Relocation assistance may be provided.
- Utilize industry standard methodologies, including PMP and Lean Six Sigma based continuous improvement methodologies, to engage teams to solve customer problems.
- Drive speed, quality, and simplification by eliminating rework loops, reducing and automating manual work and hand‑offs, identifying and implementing best practices across the business, and minimizing process variability through standardization and automation.
- Motivate others to achieve impeccable quality in an explosive growth and deadline‑driven environment.
- Diagnose Amazon processes, identify improvement opportunities, prescribe improvement strategies, and guide the improvement effort.
- Lead and drive process improvements (short‑term wins) as well as process design/redesign (long‑term wins) efforts.
- Create global best practice documentation and facilitate sharing across the globe.
- Maintain close relationships with internal stakeholders and understand our highest priority execution pain‑points and opportunities, which translates into benchmarking initiatives that improve processes, tools, and team capabilities.

- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross‑functionally with tech and non‑tech teams
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation logistics
- Experience in facility and infrastructure construction management
- 3+ years of driving end‑to‑end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- PMP certificate
- Master’s degree

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
