Key RoleDesign and implement effective AI solution architecture utilizing approaches of various AI technologies and methods to address Marine Corps operational needs. Apply advanced technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and supervise team members, as needed. Contribute to the direction of mission‑critical solutions by applying best‑fit ML algorithms and technologies. Help clients navigate the landscape of ML algorithms, tools, and frameworks.
BasicQualifications
- 4+ years of experience with artificial intelligence, data science, machine learning engineering, software engineering, data research, or data analytics
- 4+ years of experience with software development or engineering, including in an academic or professional environment
- Experience with generative and agentic AI technologies, such as LLMs, MCP, Lang Chain, or Lang Graph
- Experience with a programming language, including Python, C#, or Java
- Knowledge of modern software design patterns, including microservice design or edge computing
- Ability to create solutions within a collaborative, cross‑functional team environment
- Ability to develop scripts and programs for converting various types of data into usable formats and support project team to scale, monitor, and operate data platforms
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with embedded systems programming in C, C++, or Rust
- Experience with integrating coding agents, such as Cursor or Windsurf, into an efficient development pipeline with measured results
- Ability to develop and maintain scalable data stores that supply big data in forms needed for business analysis
- Ability to create software for retrieving, parsing, and processing structured and unstructured data

CompensationSalary range: $77,600.00 to $ (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.

Work Model- If this position is listed as remote or hybrid, you’ll periodically work from a Booz Allen or client site facility.
