- Implement a data lake that is aligned with the company’s vision, product and the AI strategy
- Collaborate with the engineering, product, and risk teams to define the strategic data architecture vision, roadmap, and improve processes, data detail, and business applications
- Establish guidelines, controls, and processes to make data available for developing scalable data-driven solutions for Analytics and AI
- Enforce data ingestion, integration, and access patterns to support both real-time and batch-based consumer data needs
- Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data from unauthorized access, ensuring data privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations
- Plan and oversee data migration processes when transitioning to new data systems and platforms
- Document data architecture designs, implementations, and best practices
- Conduct training sessions for internal teams on data architecture and data lake best practices
- Establish and maintain monitoring systems for data pipelines and architecture components
- Provide timely resolution to data-related issues and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks
- Hire and mentor data engineers
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with 15+ years of Data Architecture and Data Engineering experience
- Proven expertise in designing data platforms for large-scale data and diverse data architectures, including warehouses, lake houses, and integrated data stores
- Expertise in Snowflake or Databricks
- Expertise in events classification
- Experience in using data clean rooms architecture/tools
- Experience in building a knowledge graph using Graph
DB technologies such as Neo4j, Amazon’s Neptune - Experience with data security (including PHI and PII), as well as data privacy regulations (CCPA and GDPR)
- Ability to manage projects effectively, plan tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Exposure to analytics techniques using ML and AI to assist data scientists and analysts in deriving insights from data

- Base Salary Range: $235,000 - $260,000 USD (depending on experience and location)

Work Environment, Location and Travel: This is a remote-first role open to candidates legally authorized to work in the United States. Employees may optionally work from our Arlington, VA HQ. This position may require up to minimal travel.
