This is an exciting full-time opportunity to work in a fast‑paced environment with a team of passionate technologists. As an AI Engineer, you will be working to support the client's mission and goals of building an AI application for an enterprise financial data platform.

This position is located in Arlington, VA.

• Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities with the ability to support multiple work streams and drive assimilation of new techniques and solutions.
• Design, develop, and implement AI models and algorithms to address business challenges and improve processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams of data scientists, software developers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into AI solutions.
• Optimize and fine‑tune existing AI models to enhance their accuracy, efficiency, and performance.
• Deploy AI solutions into production environments and ensure their integration with existing systems.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of AI systems, adjusting as necessary to improve outcomes.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on AI‑related projects and initiatives.

• Interim Secret clearance is required to begin working onsite with our client, and a Secret clearance must be maintained throughout the project duration.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or STEM related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience as an AI Specialist, Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or similar role in AI development.
• Strong understanding of artificial intelligence, large language models, machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and deep learning techniques.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
• Strong knowledge of AI frameworks and libraries (Tensor Flow, PyTorch, Peras).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms for AI deployment (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with big data technologies and tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work with complex datasets.
• Strong technical and troubleshooting techniques.

• Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Data Science.
• Relevant certification in AI or machine learning (AWS Certified Machine Learning, Google AI Certification).
• Experience with natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or reinforcement learning.
• Understanding of data engineering and data lake house concepts.
• Ability and willingness to manage and lead AI projects from concept to deployment.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79,600.00 - $.
