Position:
Overall MEM Tower Lead

Location: Washington DC or Arlington, VA preferred

Must have Certification: ITIL and at least 2 major tools such as Service Now, Tivoli, Splunk, SCOM, Control-M, BMC

Desirable certifications: Service Now, IBM Tivoli, Splunk, BMC, Microsoft relevant to tools - SCOM, SCCM;

Responsibilities:

Manage IT staff by recruiting, training, coaching, and appraising performance (less than 10 staff).

Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures; identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions.

Audit systems, assess outcomes, preserve assets, ensure information security, and control structures.

Manage budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.

Oversee technological equipment and software functionality and efficiency.

Lead major IT projects including updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages, with extensive knowledge of ITOM tools like Splunk, Moogsoft, MF Ops Bridge, Solar Winds, AppD, SCOM.

Drive tool solution design, architecture, and implementation; ensure best practices and customer satisfaction.

Architect and document technical solutions aligned with client objectives; identify gaps and coach project teams.

Provide project status updates, manage client expectations, and facilitate communication.

Assist with pre-sales, project scoping, demos, and training.

Support project delivery, manage multiple deliverables, and coordinate with partners and stakeholders.

Ensure documentation, guidelines, and procedures are in place and enforced.

Work with teams to propose solutions that meet security and connectivity standards.

Continuously identify and implement improvements for productivity and quality.
