Responsibilities
- Architect data pipelines and AI/ML solutions.
- Experience with Python and SQL for modeling, integration, governance and security.
- Experience with cloud and platform design including databases, data lakes, or hybrid cloud platforms.
- Collaboration with Data Mangers, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers to align architectural goals.
- Reduce complexity in ETL and pipeline automation.
- Understanding security data, compliance, and governance frameworks.
- Active Secret clearance (required).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
- 7+ years of professional experience in data architecture/data engineering or equivalent.
- Experience with cloud integration such as Azure, AWS and other scalable warehouse and lakehouse architectures.
- Familiarity with Databricks, Apache Spark, and SQL.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and Git Hub/Git Lab version control.
- Position will be hybrid, onsite in Arlington/Washington DC depending on meetings.
