About the Role

Redhorse Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) in their crucial mission of Combatant Command integration. You will be instrumental in assessing and advancing the Combatant Command's technology integration initiatives and driving forward AI/ML and data-driven decision-making across the Department of Defense (DoD). This high-impact role offers significant opportunities to shape the future of DoD data management and analytics, directly influencing national security investments.

Frequent travel is required.

• Design and develop software requirements for multiple intelligence-based support capabilities, encompassing software architectures, APIs, frameworks, and libraries.
• Contribute to the development of a strategy for rapid prototyping of AI capabilities, including Generative AI.
• Maintain and guide the development of common libraries and tools utilized by multiple teams.
• Document requirements and specifications; review documentation from other teams and vendors.
• Develop front-end and back-end components and tooling to accelerate the prototyping process.
• Collaborate closely with clients and requirements owners to build out product lines.
• Develop plans, roadmaps, and software design strategies. Analyze and decompose activities and requirements into software designs allocated across systems components/sub-components.
• Capture, develop, and report reference architectures, documenting compliance standards.

• Bachelor's Degree plus 7+ years of experience OR a Master's Degree plus 5+ years of experience.
• Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and CI Polygraph.
• Programming experience with Python and JavaScript.
• Experience with a front-end framework (React or Vue).
• Experience with at least one backend runtime/framework (Node.js, Spring, Spring Boot, Django, Flask).
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools.
• Strong understanding of modern software architectures such as microservices, and front-end frameworks.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to synthesize requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and facilitate engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines. This is a PWS workflow; strict adherence to requirements language is critical.

• Dev Sec Ops  experience.
• Experience with Data Bricks, Gitlab, Jira, or Spark.
• Experience with other programming languages beyond Python and JavaScript (e.g., Java, C++, Go).
• Experience with specific AI/ML tools and libraries (e.g., Tensor Flow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
