Overview
Zetier seeks a Dev Sec Ops & Cloud Automation Engineer to design, implement, and secure our private cloud infrastructure supporting advanced cybersecurity and defense missions. Candidates will demonstrate deep experience automating infrastructure, enforcing compliance through code, and implementing Zero Trust and STIG-aligned architectures across complex, hybrid environments.
Responsibilities- Design, implement, and secure private cloud infrastructure supporting cybersecurity and defense missions.
- Automate infrastructure and deployment pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools.
- Enforce compliance through code and implement Zero Trust and STIG-aligned architectures.
- Collaborate with development, security, and IT teams to maintain secure, scalable systems.
- 5+ years in Dev Sec Ops , SRE, or infrastructure automation
- Hands-on with Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD (e.g., Git Lab, Jenkins)
- Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes and Docker
- Strong Linux systems and network administration skills
- Proven ability to harden systems to STIG or equivalent baselines
- Familiar with automated monitoring (e.g., OpenSCAP, Prometheus)
- Effective collaboration across development, security, and IT teams
- Active U.S. security clearance
- Experience with private/hybrid clouds (VMware, Open Stack)
- Knowledge of secure cloud design (AWS Gov Cloud, Azure, GCP)
- Familiar with policy-as-code and automated security scanning tools
- Exposure to segmentation and software-defined networking (SDN)
- Familiar with centralized logging and metrics (ELK, Graylog, Grafana)
- Experience with thin clients and PCoIP/VNC remote environments
- Understanding of NIST 800-171 / 800-53 and RMF frameworks
- Scripting proficiency (Python, Bash, or Go)
