Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a full-time detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Specialist to assist in managing payroll functions for our organization. This role reports to the Director of Payroll and serves as a key liaison between HR, employees, and finance, ensuring accurate payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance with all federal and state regulations. • Process all payroll cycles accurately and on time
• Manage wages, deductions, taxes, expenses, and garnishments
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
• Assist and track multi-state tax registrations for all companies and tax types
• Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies
• Generate payroll reports for management and finance as needed
• Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits and 401(k) questions and support

• Maintain accurate employee records within HRIS and payroll systems
• Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll and employee data
• Support audits and reporting related to payroll and benefits

• Act as a liaison between employees, HR, and finance
• Respond to payroll and benefits inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding payroll and benefits processes
• Participates in new hire orientations and employee training
