Human Resources Business Partner

Overview

Our LNG client is seeking a dynamic and strategic Human Resources Business Partner to join their growing HR team. This is an in-office position. This role partners closely with business leaders to strengthen organizational effectiveness, support change initiatives, and deliver people strategies aligned with company goals. The ideal candidate is a data-driven HR professional with strong employee relations experience, solid compliance knowledge, and a passion for developing talent and building trusted relationships across all levels of an organization.

• Serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders on recruiting, performance management, and workforce planning
• Use people analytics and HR metrics to identify trends, provide insights, and support data-driven decision-making
• Lead employee relations matters, including investigations, and guide managers on complex HR issues while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies
• Support succession planning, talent development, and retention initiatives
• Partner with leadership on change management and employee engagement strategies
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations and stay current on HR best practices
• Collaborate with HRIS, Total Rewards, and Recruiting teams to align HR programs with business needs

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• 5–7+ years of progressive HR Generalist or HR Business Partner experience
• Proven ability to use HR data and metrics to influence business decisions
• Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR policy development
• Excellent relationship-building, coaching, and communication skills
• Experience handling employee relations and performance improvement processes
