This is a hybrid role working out of our Northern Virginia offices at least 2 days per week. We are looking for an experienced Human Resource Business Partner to join our team and support one or more of our business units and various corporate initiatives using a consultative and proactive approach.
What You Will Do- Partnering with business unit leadership to align People Team strategies with business goals
- Reinforcing a performance-based culture through consistent coaching and development support
- Serving as a trusted advisor to people leaders on employee relations matters, ensuring fair, compliant and timely resolution
- Facilitating annual performance management activities including goal setting, feedback delivery and development planning
- Understanding legal requirements and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws
- Educating managers on making well-informed, data-driven compensation decisions that align with business goals
- Using HR metrics and data to identify trends, inform decisions, and recommend solutions to improve employee engagement and retention
- Partnering with People Team and Corporate functions and contributing to People Team initiatives and priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of relevant HR experience with a strong emphasis on consultative HRBP experience
- Experience working for a government contractor
- 5+ years of experience with MS Office and/or Google suite
- Strong formal presentation/facilitation skills
- Experience in mentoring and training
- PHR or SPHR
- Experience with Paycom
- Desired skills include compensation experience, business acumen, strategic thinking, data literacy, communications and change management
Willingness and ability to receive a government security clearance

Salary Range: $116,000 - $160,000 USD (annualized)
