Overview
Strategic Analysis, Inc. (SA) is actively seeking an Action Officer to support the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) Director's Officer (DIRO) Leadership.
Responsibilities- Strategic Support:
- Assist the CMO/Senior Advisor in developing, implementing, and tracking strategic priorities and initiatives
- Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and reports for high-level meetings and engagements
- Conduct research and analysis to inform decision-making and policy development
- Operational Coordination:
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics for internal and external engagements
- Track action items, deadlines, and deliverables, ensuring timely completion and follow-up
- Serve as a liaison between the CMO/Senior Advisor and other ARPA-H teams, government agencies, and external partners
- Communication & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Draft correspondence, talking points, and communications on behalf of the CMO/Senior Advisor
- Facilitate information flow and ensure alignment across teams and projects
- Support outreach and engagement activities with key stakeholders including federal agencies, academic institutions, and industry partners
- Project Management:
- Lead or support special projects and initiatives as assigned by the CMO/Senior Advisor
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and recommend solutions to overcome obstacles
- 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment (government, healthcare, research, or consulting preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity
- Advanced degree in public health, biomedical sciences, health policy, or related field preferred
- Experience supporting senior executives or government officials is highly desirable
- Familiarity with biomedical research, health innovation, or federal health agencies is a plus
- Working in a start-up environment is a plus
Bachelor's degree
LocationOn-site in Washington D.C.; potential ad-hoc travel as needed
ClearanceAbility to obtain HHS Public Trust.
