Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts with every other weekend required

• 13-week assignment duration with ASAP start date

• Care for cardiac surgery patients after ICU on cardiovascular stepdown/telemetry unit

• Manage 4:1 patient ratio during all shifts

• Must have 2 years of RN experience required

• Strong cardiac telemetry/stepdown experience with chest tube and dysrhythmia management required

• Experience with cardiovascular stepdown patients and telemetry monitoring required

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS

• Must have active Virginia or Compact license in hand at submission

• EPIC charting system experience required - training class dependent on experience level

• 24 hours of orientation provided

• Skills include titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, post-cardiac surgery care, chest tube management, central line care, blood product administration, and wound care

• Smoke/nicotine free facility

• Must provide statement of EPIC experience and interview availability

• Up to 7 hours of non-billable modules required during orientation
