Patient Safety Technician, Float Pool (Per-Diem)

Join VHC Health as a Patient Safety Technician in our Float Pool, working on a per-diem basis under the supervision of a registered nurse.

• Assist with routine patient care tasks including feeding, dressing, and toileting.
• Observe and document changes in patient status.
• Maintain safety for patients who are confused, at high risk for falls, or require one-to-one observation.
• Provide a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Assist with department tasks as needed.
• Transport patients within the unit.
• Perform unit secretary tasks and other related duties.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Empathetic communication and interpersonal skills.
