Overview
Our client, a midsized healthcare facility located about 45 mins from Arlington, VA, has a need for Radiology Techs to join their team. They have 3 openings: 2 day shifts (Mon-Fri 7:30a-4p or 8:30a-5p) and a weekend night shift (Fri-Sun, 7p-7a). This position offers the night shift differential, weekend shift differential, and a 30% shift differential from base rate.
ResponsibilitiesThe Radiology Technologist assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the x-ray equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images.
Qualifications- Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Graduate of an accredited Radiology program.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology preferred. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy for additional details.
- Licensure: ARRT or registry eligible required. Registry eligible technologist must successfully complete the ARRT certification exam in Radiology within 90 days of hire. Applicable state licensure as required.
