Purpose & Scope
Under supervision of a registered pharmacist, performs the technical tasks involved with the storage, distribution, packaging, labeling of medication and associated record‑keeping and patient billing systems.
EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
ExperienceThree years of experience in an institutional setting is preferred.
Certification/LicensureLicensed as a Certified Pharmacy Technician by the Virginia Department of Health Professions required.
