Bed Management Manager

Overview

Bed Management Manager role at VHC Health. Under the direction of the EVS Director, the Bed Management Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, scheduling and delivery of beds as needed within the hospital. The Manager will oversee three (3) employees.

• Plan, coordinate, schedule and ensure delivery of beds as needed within the hospital.
• Supervise and develop three staff members.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience in Healthcare Environmental Services/housekeeping required.
• One to two years of experience in customer service, patient experience, or another hospital department preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and familiarity with medical terminology preferred.
• Previous computer entry/word processing/inventory management experience preferred.
• Certification/Licensure:
  None required.
