Position: FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST with Security Clearance

This position is telework eligible Qualifications You may qualify at the GS-14 grade level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:

A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service:
* Conducting comprehensive program analysis of country programs such as:
Foreign Military Financing (FMF) and Foreign Military Foreign Military Sales (FMS) to develop internal controls that will ensure optimum use of financial resources
* Analyzing and applying problem solving methods to identify problems, draw conclusions, make recommendations and provide solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness
* Utilizing automated accounting software and systems and on-line budgeting processes
* Interpreting and applying DoD budget and financial business processes and directives. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, Ameri Corps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
