The F‑35 Joint Program Office (JPO) supports development, acquisition, fielding, modernization, and sustainment of the F‑35 joint strike fighter.
The F‑35 JPO Security Directorate provides full spectrum multi‑disciplined security support to protect F‑35 technology and information across its enterprise and throughout the acquisition and sustainment lifecycle. This includes providing advice and services for programmatic security measures that deny unauthorized access to F‑35 facilities, equipment, and resources, and protect personnel, information, and property from damage and/or loss of technology.
The Export Compliance Specialist will assist the Government in facilitating export‑related policy activities. These include preparing and coordinating presentations for committee review, interacting with applicable inter‑agency partners for export licenses, and interpreting and maintaining export‑related documentation.
Specific Duties Include- Coordinate across the JPO enterprise and other government agencies to ensure a National Disclosure Policy (NDP) compliant air system is certified for export to international partners.
- Review and provide recommendations on F‑35 export licenses to ensure international participation remains within U.S. Government policy guidelines.
- Master’s Degree and 10 years of experience or a BS and 14 years are required.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) licensing applications and review process.
- Demonstrated knowledge of aircraft programs and systems.

The likely salary range for this position is $111,155 – $150,385. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
