Job Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Security Analyst / Audit Liaison to support a federal contract.
The Senior Security Analyst / Audit Liaison will act as the primary point of contact between the organization and external auditors. This role is responsible for facilitating audit activities, coordinating documentation, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and supporting internal teams to meet audit and security requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary coordinator for external audits, including scheduling, documentation access, and internal team support.
- Maintain and manage audit-related documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and accessibility.
- Monitor compliance across federal programs and advise on best practices and corrective actions to mitigate risk.
- Facilitate clear and timely communication between auditors and internal departments to support audit objectives.
- Identify and assess compliance risks, escalating concerns as needed and driving resolutions.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on audit standards, processes, and documentation requirements.
- Analyze audit findings and prepare comprehensive reports with insights and improvement recommendations for senior leadership.
- U.S. Citizenship and active DoD Secret Security Clearance
. - Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in audit coordination, compliance, or a related function.
- Strong knowledge of federal regulations, government accounting practices, and audit standards.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in or supporting federal government programs.
- Advanced degrees or certifications such as CPA or CIA.
- Familiarity with audit management software and document control systems.
- Experience supporting DHS or other large federal agencies.
