Baer is looking for SAP Funds Management Consultant for a 12+ month Federal remote project.

Title: SAP Funds Management Consultant

Location: Hybrid (Must be based in US) - Possible Travel to VA

Duration: 12 months

Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed

Alignment: W2 or C2C

We are seeking an experienced SAP Funds Management (FM) Consultant to support a major S/4

HANA financial transformation. This role is focused on designing and implementing effective funds control, budget execution, and financial compliance processes within a modernized ERP environment. The consultant will act as a functional subject matter expert, translating business and regulatory requirements into scalable SAP FM solutions.

• Configure and support SAP Funds Management (FM) in ECC and S/4
  
  HANA
• Partner with finance stakeholders to define budgetary control and funds availability processes
• Support functional design, testing, and integration with SAP Finance modules
• Assist with data migration validation and financial reconciliation
• Develop functional documentation, training materials, and support knowledge transfer
• Support deployment, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization

• 7+ years of SAP ECC Finance experience with strong focus on Funds Management
• Experience supporting FM in large, complex ERP environments
• Strong knowledge of financial controls, budgeting, and compliance requirements
• Ability to work effectively across technical and functional teams
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
