Role Overview
The FP&A Manager analyzes financial data to formulate forecasts, profit and loss accounts, financial models and variance analysis for our Customer Success and Growth organizations. The successful candidate will present data to management to aid decision making. Also assists both organizations during the budgeting process.
Key Responsibilities- Support monthly and quarterly close activities, including variance analysis.
- Prepare management reporting packages (actuals vs forecast vs budget).
- Assist in annual operating plan (AOP) and rolling forecast cycles.
- Maintain financial models and update forecast assumptions.
- Partner with Customer Success and Growth leaders on headcount and workforce cost modeling.
- Analyze operational KPIs and translate performance into financial impact.
- Support revenue and margin analysis for Customer Success programs.
- Identify cost drivers, risks, and savings opportunities.
- Improve reporting automation and data accuracy.
- Build executive‑ready materials to support the lead Finance Business Partner.
- Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to reduce inefficiencies and enhance accuracy in reporting. - Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
Work closely with various departments, such as finance, operations, and IT, to ensure alignment of expense management strategies and practices across the organization. - Strategic Decision‑Making:
Contribute to strategic decision‑making processes by providing data‑driven insights related to expense management and financial performance. - Change Management:
Lead or support initiatives related to cost‑reduction projects, process changes, and other transformations that impact operating expenses. - Support ad‑hoc assignments and special projects.
- 5–7 years of FP&A or corporate finance experience.
- Experience supporting operational or customer‑facing functions.
- Experience in a matrixed or growth‑oriented environment preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA preferred.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Experience with ERP and financial planning systems.
- Demonstrated ability to drive planning and forecasting processes. Proficiency in Anaplan reporting platform a strong plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to collaborate across teams to achieve goals.
