B. Anthony Pro-Life America (SBA) is the largest pro-life political organization in the country with a nationwide network of more than 1 million Americans. We combine politics with policy, investing heavily in voter education to ensure that pro-life Americans know where their lawmakers stand on protecting the unborn, and in issue advocacy, advancing pro-life laws through direct lobbying and grassroots campaigns.

The Accountant is responsible for the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports for SBA and its affiliates. This position will assist with compliance reporting for the Organization’s political and lobbying activities. This position will also assist with the annual audit and preparation of the 990. On the job training and mentoring will be available for these functions and all responsibilities.

This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Director of Finance.

• Reconciles cash accounts daily
• Confirms donation batches daily for accuracy in Virtuous CRM
• Assembles credit card reports in Zoho for monthly processing
• Reviews monthly credit card transactions and reimbursements request for proper documentation and approvals using Zoho Expense
• Manages the accounting email inbox and processes all inquiries and invoices, including entering invoices into
• Assists in the preparation of reports and documentation for monthly departmental budget reviews and annual budget preparation
• Assists with audit, tax and 990 preparations
• Assists with State registrations and FEC / state reporting for political and lobbying activities
• Assists in the preparation of reports to meet Grant reporting requirements
• Serves as a backup for payroll processing, cash projections, paying bills in
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all financial matters
