Key Responsibilities Underwrite FHA and VA loans, ensuring compliance with company policies Communicate regularly with Loan Officers and Processors regarding loan statuses Assist with training needs of other mortgage positions and maintain current knowledge of products
Required Qualifications Minimum of five (5) years of government underwriting experience Valid CHUMS and/or LAPP/Sar designation for underwriting FHA and VA loans Recent experience with USDA and Bond underwriting is highly preferred Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email systems Proven leadership skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
