Our client is a large, publicly traded energy company in Arlington VA. The role is a Senior Tax Analyst focused on compliance and provision work. Ideal opportunity for a CPA transitioning out of public accounting. $100-$130k salary range.
Responsibilities- Assist with quarterly and annual tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740
- Manage and/or assist in the preparation of US Federal, state and foreign income tax and non-income tax/informational returns
- Draft complex tax disclosures for SEC filings
- Calculate and prepare quarterly Federal and state estimated tax payments
- Assist with preparation of tax returns for indirect items (VAT, sales and use tax, property tax)
- Support forecasting activities specific to tax components
- 3+ years tax experience in public accounting
- Active CPA license
- Desire to grow and apply oneself in corporate taxation
- Ability to be in the office everyday in Arlington VA
