Our focus on the Insurance Tax practice as a Manager will involve captive insurance tax engagements, including consulting, compliance, feasibility studies, and audits.

• Prepare and deliver captive insurance tax consulting memoranda and opinions.
• Conduct captive insurance feasibility studies, with specific commentary on tax implications.
• Perform financial statement audits and review tax returns.
• Manage client relationships, including building effective relationships, staffing and economics of engagements, and analyzing results.

• Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years of tax experience.
• CPA or licensed attorney required.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and SSAP 101.
• Income‑tax support for audits and experience with insurance companies and C‑Corporations.
• At least 5 years of preparing and reviewing 1120, 1120‑PC, 1120‑L, and consolidated group returns.
• Experience working with One Source and/or Corptax environments.
• Experience with captive insurance companies is a bonus.

• Knowledge of how captive insurance companies operate.
• Direct experience in state and local taxation (state return compliance, state income‑tax accounting, state apportionment fundamentals).

• Comprehensive compensation and benefits package ranging from  103,600 to  189,900 in the US, with higher ranges in major metro areas. Includes medical, dental, pension, 401(k), and paid time off.
