Position Description
You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the FMS SUSTAINMENT DEPARTMENT of NAVAL AIR SYSTEM COMMAND HQ-OSF.
Position Duties/Responsibilities- You will participate in the development and design of new systems by assessing the supportability and maintainability of proposed systems and technology applications.
- You will perform cost analysis and life cycle costing studies for assigned systems.
- You will develop and approves logistic/maintenance requirements analyses; documentation requirements for RFPs/RFQs and other contractual documents based on input from logistic element managers.
- You will review Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), assesses the impact of changes to ILS, and recommend approval/disapproval based on trade-off analyses between improved performance/supportability and additional costs.
