Sr. Innovation and Design Engineer, Design and Engineering

• Collaborate with internal and external teams to design high‑quality, cost‑effective solutions for fulfillment and distribution systems.
• Own multiple projects simultaneously from concept through design approval.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for suppliers and hand‑off approved designs to Ops Engineering for installation and commissioning.
• Support Ops Engineering to ensure successful installation, commissioning and launch of the system.
• Lead projects across green‑fields, brown‑fields, retrofits and specialty facilities such as reverse logistics, hazmat, cross‑dock and transportation centers throughout North America and Europe.
• Work in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment handling hundreds of projects annually.

• 5+ years of design & innovation, research & development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a foreign equivalent.
• Experience managing engineering design projects.
• Proficiency in business or technical software such as MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD.

• 5+ years of specialty experience with progressive responsibility.
• Master’s degree in Engineering (any domain), Operations, Business Administration or a related field.
• Knowledge of system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, statistical and reliability analysis, electronic system design and decision making.
• Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, high‑speed manufacturing and design‑in‑safety.

Base salary ranges: USA, TN, Nashville – $– USD annually; USA, VA, Arlington – $– USD annually. Package includes sign‑on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs) and comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off and parental leave.
