Public Works – Civil Engineer

Seeking an experience Public Works Civil Engineer with 10+ years of relevant project experiences, proven track record of managing and delivering results. Successful candidate will have demonstrated full commitment to professionalism, highest quality workmanship and dedication to personal excellence.

• Compile complete set of Construction Drawings for all phases of the project
• Conduct field assessments and inspections to plan and execute project goals
• Provide expertise for design and structural considerations, as well as evaluating site-specific needs
• Design Civil Engineering Systems (Grading, Utilities, Improvements)
• Provide AutoCAD assistance and drafting
• Coordinate with client – Technical Design issues
• Prepare /coordinate Civil related Technical specifications
• Prepare /coordinate engineer’s cost estimates
• CA field support
• Manage and advise staff in construction, operations and maintenance projects
• Apply codes and project specific standards
• Task level QCD and Resource management
• Professional level fluency in writing Technical Memorandum and Reports
• Present reports on proposals, new techniques, environmental impacts, right of way, etc
• Demonstrate Expert level proficiency in one or more of the following areas: LEED, QSD/QSP, SWPPP, Transportation, Subdivision, Utility Infrastructure

• PE License preferred
• BS Civil Engineering
• AutoCAD Civil 3D CAD Skills
• 10+ years of relevant project experience
• Successful track record of managing and meeting project goals
• Proven exceptional Design and Project Management expertise
• Proven Team Building and mentoring skills
• Network in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industries and local Agencies
• Business Acumen and forward thinking visionary and tactical execution skills

• Advanced Public Works Project Experience
• QSD/QSP (preferred)
• LEED AP (preferred)
• Ability to mentor and manage technical staff
