About the Role

GHT is seeking a motivated Mechanical Design Engineer with the following qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (or equivalent), with up to 2 years of experience in mechanical design.
• Interest in or preparation for the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam to become an EIT, with the goal of obtaining a PE license.
• Interest or experience in mechanical design for the built environment.
• Desire to learn about building, energy, and green codes.
• Interest in joining professional associations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with proper training.
• Organizational skills to manage workflow and delegate tasks.
• Commitment to client satisfaction and responsiveness.
• Motivation to excel and willingness to learn.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software is preferred.
• Ability to travel to job sites, conduct site visits, and handle physical tasks, including exposure to outdoor elements.
