About the Role
GHT is seeking a motivated Mechanical Design Engineer with the following qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (or equivalent), with up to 2 years of experience in mechanical design.
- Interest in or preparation for the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam to become an EIT, with the goal of obtaining a PE license.
- Interest or experience in mechanical design for the built environment.
- Desire to learn about building, energy, and green codes.
- Interest in joining professional associations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with proper training.
- Organizational skills to manage workflow and delegate tasks.
- Commitment to client satisfaction and responsiveness.
- Motivation to excel and willingness to learn.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software is preferred.
- Ability to travel to job sites, conduct site visits, and handle physical tasks, including exposure to outdoor elements.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. GHT participates in E-Verify.
