As a Project Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring every aspect of the project runs smoothly – from technical planning and documentation to problem-solving in the field. You'll work closely with superintendents, craft teams, and clients to deliver safe, high-quality, on-time results.
Responsibilities- Interpret design plans and specifications for construction teams.
- Identify and resolve design discrepancies, interferences, or field challenges.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation – status reports, submittals, sketches, punch lists, and more.
- Monitor budgets, costs, and schedules to support project profitability.
- Assist in the preparation of field design changes and as-built drawings.
- Support project safety programs and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Provide mentorship or training to junior team members.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Five (5) to eight (8) years of previous construction, design, or project management experience in heavy civil or highway work preferred.
- Skills:
