CEG Solutions is a leading national Energy Service Company (ESCO) that
specializes in delivering transformative sustainability and infrastructure projects.
Originating as a general contractor, we leverage deep construction expertise and rigorous data analysis to provide turnkey, design-build energy and water efficiency solutions at no upfront cost to our clients.

With over $1 billion in projects awarded or in development, we partner with federal, state, and local governments, as well as healthcare and education sectors, to modernize complex facilities. Following our recent 2025 merger with Iconergy, we continue to expand our mission to improve the built environment through innovation, technical excellence, and guaranteed results.

Our team is dedicated to improving the way in which the built environment uses energy, and believes that our work will play a role in solving some of the greatest challenges facing society today.

As an Associate within our small and growing team, you will be responsible for driving innovative energy infrastructure upgrades (e.g., LED lighting, solar photovoltaics, data center power and cooling, etc.) through development, implementation, and performance. Success in this position requires a dynamic individual with strong technical abilities and a passion for sustainability. Though associates will have the opportunity to work on business development, construction, and engineering efforts, we are looking for associates who want to pursue a career in energy engineering.

Hires will work closely with our senior engineers to learn about and develop energy conservation measures.

Potential responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Project engineering, including client site audits to identify energy conservation measures and building upgrade identification, data analysis, cost‑savings calculations, and engineered drawing reviews
  • Project coordination, including communication with internal team members and third‑party consultants, subcontractors, and utility providers
  • Business development, including drafting competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) response submissions and sales presentations
  • Other miscellaneous tasks required to advance project initiatives to completion
LOCATION:

Arlington, VA / Metro DC area. This is a hybrid role where remote from home, in office and travel to client locations is expected. Preferred qualifications include but are not limited to:
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in engineering/STEM); undergraduate GPA > 3.4
  • U.S. work authorization required; we are unable to provide sponsorship
  • Prior related internship or co‑op experience preferred working in energy sustainability related industry
  • Demonstrated passion for energy efficiency, renewable energy, and/or sustainability
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
Hybrid Work Model

Most of our team operates in a remote or hybrid workplace model that optimizes a combination of virtual and in‑person interactions. We are intentional when we co‑locate with each other and our clients for maximum impact while empowering our people to preserve the flexibility that they desire. The nature of our work managing client transformations will require some team members to be on site at client locations, therefore the ability to travel is expected.

Our hybrid model benefits our people, and notably the environment. By reducing travel and commuting time, this aids in the reduction of our carbon footprint.

CEG Solutions LLC takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
