A&D Technology Strategist

Renaissance Strategic Advisors is a leading strategy consulting firm focused on aerospace, defense and government markets. Our team delivers corporate strategy consulting and mergers‑and‑acquisitions (M&A) advisory to clients from offices in Arlington, VA;
London, UK;
Paris, France; and Melbourne, Australia.

• A passion for and experience in electronic systems and/or embedded electronic sub‑systems for defense, space and/or aerospace applications
• A technical degree and background in industry roles such as product management, solutions architecture, business development or similar
• Experience in progressive roles that transition from technical engineering to business development, strategy, client engagement or M&A
• Strong analytical skills and comfort with complex quantitative and qualitative analysis
• Curiosity, energy, positivity and the ability to work in teams in a dynamic environment; hunger to tackle projects of consequential strategic value for high‑level clients

• Support business development and drive execution of client engagements, provide subject‑matter input, lead analysts, and report to senior consultants
• Engage a client base that includes large defense primes, multi‑industry conglomerates, emerging technology firms and high‑growth start‑ups
• Distill industry trends, expert opinions, domain expertise and detailed defense budgetary analysis into concise, compelling insights to advise clients on core strategic issues
• Deliver and communicate reports and findings to client management and executive leadership

• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency
• 4‑6+ years of work experience in the A&D sector (industry or consulting)
• Bachelor’s or higher engineering degree, preferably in electrical engineering; MBA or MS preferred
• Strong business‑writing and client‑communication skills
• Comfort with data analysis and strong presentation abilities
