• Ensure project compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Create and maintain project schedules for mid-size to large projects.
• Manage project team’s scope, schedule, budget and quality on assigned projects.
• Assist in the production of HVAC and plumbing system deliverables (Specifications, drawings, calculations, and basis of design documents) for new buildings as well as renovations and additions to existing facilities.
• Actively coordinate with other disciplines, clients, and contractors on projects.
• Actively mentor/share knowledge with other staff members.
• Oversee the creation and analysis of project energy modeling and life cycle cost analysis utilizing Trace 3D and BLCC.
• Oversee creation of 2D drawings (P&IDs, control diagrams, and notes) in REVIT.
• Perform construction period services (review of submittals, responses to RFI’s, etc.).
• Present in front of large groups that include clients, peers, contractors, and end-user groups.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering from an accredited program.
• Knowledge of building mechanical codes and ability to perform accurate load calculations.
• Strong HVAC/Plumbing design capability in industrial, commercial, central plants, boilers, chillers and related markets.
• Knowledgeable in sustainable design.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Preferred: design experience related to Federal industry, European, General MILCON, or Civil Works project experience;
  Building Controls Systems Design/Building Automation; CFD modeling.
• Minimum Qualifications:
  
  Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program; minimum 5 years related work experience.
• Holds active engineering registration or licensure to support Engineer of Record (EOR) requirements where applicable.
