• Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure in Special Education.

Dual endorsement in Englishas a Second Language and/or Special Education, or any other content area, is preferred but not required.

• Teaching experience in the above mentioned area
• Knowledge of best instructional practices
• Ability to integratetechnology
• Experience in educational and instructional leadership
• Dual endorsed preferred

• Implements instructional programs that meet the needs, interests and abilities of students using appropriate instructional materials
• Maintains safe and orderly environment
• Communicates with parents/guardians
• Maintains complete and accurate studentrecords
• Collaborates with school administrators, other teachers, instructional assistants, parents, and community members
• Monitors and assesses student achievement

Attends ongoing professional learning and meetings

Salary will be based on the FY 2026-27 salary schedule
