• Role:
  Emergency Medicine Physician
• Certification Requirements:
  Board-certified/board-eligible (BC/BE) via ABEM or AOBEM; ABPS EM candidates welcome
• Duration:
  Initial 3-month assignment with potential for extension
• Start Date:
  June 1, 2024
• Shifts: 24-hour physician coverage, with shift changes at 7 AM and 7 PM

• Newly opened (March 2023) freestanding emergency department
• Approximately 23 patient visits per day, with an anticipated annual volume of 8,500 visits
• 10,000 square-foot facility with advanced amenities, including:
  • Fully equipped trauma bay
  • State-of-the-art imaging (CT, ultrasound, and radiology)
  • 11 private treatment rooms
  • Separate adult and pediatric waiting areas
  • Ambulance bay for efficient EMS access

Patients requiring inpatient admission will be transferred to a nearby hospital campus with excellent care handoffs to intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists.
