Position Title:
Trauma Surgeon (Part-Time)
Overview
The physician is a member of the healthcare team who works in collaboration with other staff to provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients. The scope of practice is defined through the health system’s credentialing and privileging committee. The Physician supports objectives, budget, and performance metrics at the individual level and supports all medical activities at the individual level including implementation of quality control standards, risk management and compliance programs.
The role is to provide quality clinical care to those individuals who have chosen VHC Health in a timely manner to meet the needs of our patients.
- Provide quality clinical care to patients in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive services.
- Support objectives, budget, and performance metrics at the individual level.
- Implement quality control standards, risk management, and compliance programs at the individual level.
Doctorate degree from an accredited medical school is required.
ExperienceOne year of medical/surgical experience is required.
Certification/LicensureLicensed to Practice Medicine by the Virginia Department of Health Professions is required.
