Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: Part-time Overnight Concierge (Friday & Saturday, 11PM-7AM)

Description

As our Overnight Concierge, you will take over after the second concierge shift of the day and close pending tasks. You'll be the first person people see as they walk into the building and the first voice they hear when they call in. Although this shift is usually the quietest, there's still plenty to do. You'll be the go‑to person for everyone in the building, handle resident requests, work on projects, coordinate maintenance requests and set up for the following day.

You're the night watch at the property making sure it's peaceful.

As An Overnight Concierge, You Will
  • Greet incoming guests and residents and their furry family members; if they’re a guest find out how you can help and guide them in the right direction. Answer incoming calls and, if the person needs assistance with leasing or any other business‑related needs, take down their information to pass to the team in the morning.
  • Log packages. During busy periods, especially around holidays, this can be a lot of work. Log packages and give them to residents at the desk or drop‑off to residents' doors upon request. Conduct package audits to ensure delivery and improve the efficiency of package handling.
  • Assist residents with emergencies, requests, or concerns. Examples include assisting a locked‑out resident, reserving the clubroom, providing a guest parking pass, handling noise complaints, or addressing unkind neighbor behavior.
  • Respond to and coordinate service requests with the maintenance team within 24 hours. If it’s an emergency, follow protocol to ensure it’s handled right away. Communicate the request with the day concierge so they can follow up with the resident.
  • Work on administrative projects during the quiet overnight hours.
  • Walk the building to ensure doors are closed and locked and monitor security cameras for any irregular activity.
Requirements

It is required to attend New Hire Orientation, held on the second Monday of each month. Orientation is a full paid day, 9:30 am–5 pm, at our Headquarters office in DC. By accepting our offer of employment, you are agreeing to attend orientation. This will allow us to meet and get to know each other while you enjoy a fun day learning about our values, culture, and company excitement!
