Enlist as a soldier into the United States Army and become a Multimedia Illustrator who operates multimedia imaging equipment in order to produce visually stunning graphic artwork that promotes the Army. The artwork you produce will be in publications, signs, charts, posters, television, and motion picture productions. This is NOT a civilian contractor position.
No experience necessary. Position is entry level.
- Supervises, plans and operates manual, mechanical and electronic multimedia imaging equipment to provide visual information products to report combat and non-combat Army, Joint and Combined operations.
- Creates illustrations, layouts, map overlays, posters, graphs, charts and internet web pages in support of battlefield operations, psychological operations, military intelligence, medical, public affairs and training functions.
- 10 weeks of Basic Training.
- 31 weeks of Technical School with on-the-job instructions.
- 30 days paid vacation annually.

- Obtain Industry standard recognized certifications.
- Between 17-34 years old.
- No felonies. (Defer Adjudication included).
- Current High School Senior, High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Permanent resident or US citizen.
- Meet physical standards based on gender and age.
- Pass the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test.
