Background:
Navanti is seeking a skilled Project Manager - Facilities and Construction to support federal infrastructure initiatives at the FDA's White Oak Campus in Silver Spring, MD. The selected candidate will coordinate multi-agency construction efforts involving the General Services Administration (GSA), U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and U.S. Air Force (USAF). This role focuses on oversight of electrical, mechanical, and structural projects and ensures compliance with federal standards and timelines.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing procurement documentation and managing construction projects valued up to $250,000, while adhering to government contracting and safety regulations.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop scopes of work, Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), and procurement documents for federal construction projects.
- Manage construction efforts involving electrical, mechanical, and structural systems.
- Coordinate with GSA, FDA, and USAF stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and compliance with applicable federal regulations.
- U.S. Citizenship and a valid driver's license are required.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing federal construction projects (up to $250,000).
- Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, MS Project, Blue Beam, and KAHUA platforms.
- Experience with federal campus infrastructure and multi-agency construction collaboration.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to manage stakeholder expectations and reporting.
- Proven ability to track and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines.
